Crowns & Bridges

Metal-free tooth replacements

Zirconium oxide, also known as ceramic steel, has become much more important as a material for crowns and bridges in the last 10 years.

It has been used in the industry for a long time now and is recognized for being an extremely strong ceramic material.

And now, thanks to modern computer-assisted production methods, we are able to use zirconium oxide for crowns and bridges.

Zirconium oxide replaces the alloys which were previously used in the metal-ceramics.

It forms the frame in the same way and is then faced with a tooth-colored ceramic.

It does not produce any dark edges or shadow zones on crowns or bridges.
